Traver holds two earned doctorates—a D.Min. in Spiritual Formation from Haggard Graduate School of Theology (Azusa Pacific University) and a Ph.D. in Intercultural Studies (Missions) from Fuller Theological Seminary. Traver’s primary research interests include discipleship, church systems, and biblical interpretation. Alongside his involvement with planting house churches, Traver serves as a regular presenter for church planting conferences (Church Multiplication Associates) and has taught at Western and Fuller Theological Seminaries.
